Tuesday Seminars

The Department of City and Regional Planning at METU holds Research Seminars throughout the semesters.

The seminars are held in the Faculty of Architecture, Kubbealt? Room, and are open to public free of charge.

Researchers, and particularly those who have recently completed Ph.D. studies are encouraged to participate in the Tuesday Seminars to deliver a talk. The Department also makes an effort to invite researchers from outside Turkey. Past participants included: Prof. Ali Madanipour of the University of Newcastle upon Tyne; Prof. John Lovering of the University of Cardiff); Dr. Massimo Bricocoli of Politecnico di Milano; and Geoffrey Payne of Geoffrey Payne and Associates Housing and Urban Development Consultancy.
